The British Women's Group, Seoul was founded in 1977. It's aims are to provide an opportunity for regular meetings, to encourage friendship amongst British women residents in Seoul, and to participate in supporting local charities and worthy causes.

Regular monthly meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month, and regular coffee mornings aimed at welcoming newcomers are held on the Thursday two weeks prior to the monthly meeting.

Full Membership of the Group is open to women who are resident in Korea and are holders of British passports, British by birth or wives of British men. Those who do not qualify to Full Membership, but who are closely connected with British interests,
e.g. Members of Commonwealth countries, and are non-permanent residents may apply for Associate Membership.
